Welcome to fastbreak Girls Basketball by Tom Dineen.

This Girl’s Basketball Program will be conducted by Coach Tom Dineen, recently retired Hall of Fame Basketball Coach from Buffalo Grove High School.

Coach Dineen still has the enthusiasm and desire to help female athletes become improved basketball players by offering them his knowledge and years of experience in a brand new facility in Lake Barrington. Coach Dineen’s fast break Girls Basketball will offer individual lessons, small group lessons, team instruction, an Open Gym format, Coaches Clinics, leagues and tournaments.

Tom Dineen won a State Championship in 2000, along with a Third and Fourth Place finish in his 9 trips to the State Tournament. His teams won 25 Regional Championships, 11 Sectional Championships, 9 Conference Championships and 18 Divisional Championships.

Tom Dineen was selected National High School Coach of the Year by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association in 2000,was inducted into the Illinois Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame in 2001 and was the Illinois High School Association’s Coach of the Year in 2007.
